Sundays at The Bay featuring Jazz Jam SRQ: The Chuck Parr Trio

Enjoy a free, outdoor performance by the Chuck Parr Trio right next to Sarasota Bay!

Jazz Jam SRQ, formed with the assistance of the Sarasota Jazz Club, is a group of over 30 local musicians. For their October 9th performance at The Bay, they’ve comprised a trio of Jazz Jam SRQ members who work locally as The Chuck Parr Trio. In the tradition of the classic jazz guitar trios, they play jazz and latin jazz standards. The trio features Chuck Parr on drums and vocals, Art Carlson on guitar and Rob Fors on upright bass. All three are life-long jazz musicians who have played for many years with some of the best jazz groups in the area.
