Join us on the water for a guided kayak architecture tour
Viewing coastal architecture via kayak is an ideal way to experience what can’t be seen from the street. North Siesta Key paddlers will get views of select Sarasota School Houses: Twitchell & Rudolph’s Revere Quality House (1948) and Healy Guest House (1950) (“Cocoon House”); Rudolph’s Cohen Residence (1955); Carl Abbott’s Dolphin House (1997); Butterfield Lagoon Residence (2015); Guy Peterson’s SRQ Residence (2021); HIVE Architect’s Shibusa (2020).
Requires previous kayaking experience.
Kayaking route is approximately 2 hours. Not advised for those with health conditions; no children under age 6.
