Join us for a talk with Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic, Jerry Saltz on January 14 at 1pm.
Join us for an afternoon with the fascinating and candid Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic, Jerry Saltz. He is the winner of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Criticism and the 2019 National Magazine Award as New York magazine’s Senior Art Critic. He frequently lectures about the contemporary art world, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney, and now at Sarasota Art Museum!
Copies of Jerry’s latest book, Art is Life: Icons & Iconoclasts, Visionaries & Vigilantes, & Flashes of Hope in the Night will be available for purchase in the SAM SHOP or with the purchase of your conversation ticket. The talk will begin at 1 p.m. and there will be a book signing afterward at 2 p.m.
