Ringling College Galleries is proud to present Lost Summer; a collection of landscape paintings created by Ringling College Alumna, Lee Mayer (Commercial Art 72’). For thousands of years, the human race has been hooked by landscape art whatever the medium, although it only became a recognized genre of art in the late 15th century. As nineteenth century Swiss essayist, Henri Frederic Amiel, wrote, “Landscape is a state of mind”. In this collection of small and mid-scale paintings, Mayer explores the light, nature, harmony, and color of the natural beauty of Canadian summers.

Asolo Rep brings comedic new ‘Three Musketeers.
Asolo Repertory Theatre has presented versions of Alexandre Dumas’ enduring story “The Three Musketeers” twice before in the last 42 years, but never quite like the production that Peter Amster is staging to kick off the new year and the start of the winter repertory season.
This production, which begins Wednesday, features a script by Ken Ludwig, best known for the comedy “Lend Me a Tenor” and the musical “Crazy for You,” as well as the stage version of Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express,” which was a hit at Asolo Rep two years ago.
“Ludwig creatively incorporates his flair for humor to make the story a standout” – BroadwayWorld
Harrowing adventure, bravery, and friendship take center stage in Ken Ludwig’s THE THREE MUSKETEERS, a thrilling adaptation of the popular novel by Alexandre Dumas. One of the world’s most enduring comedies, this classic tells the tale of a daring young man who finds himself in the company of the world’s greatest swordsmen, as well as some of the world’s most dangerous men and women.
Directed by Peter Amster, who most recently directed Asolo Rep’s smash hit Murder on the Orient Express in 2020, this play promises to be a fast-paced, witty, swashbuckling good time.
All for one, and one for all!

Wise, heartfelt, and often comical, this anthology of award-winning short plays celebrates creativity and imagination! Top plays written by elementary school students from our community and around the world are brought to life by a cast of professional actors. From a dragon with a stubborn case of the hiccups to a boy who couldn’t resist pulling hair to an acorn that’s afraid to leave the tree, we’ve shined a spotlight on the magic of children’s creativity through this beloved annual production for more than 30 years. We invite you to join us in celebrating what stories young playwrights will imagine this school year in an all-new play filled with laughter, lessons, and learning for us all.
The Last Acorn & Other Winning Plays by Young Playwrights plays on select Saturdays and Sundays beginning March 25, 2023, in FST’s Keating Theatre. The Last Acorn & Other Winning Plays is part of a four-show Children’s Theatre Series.

Reel Music celebrates the movies that helped create the soundtrack to the last century, with classics like “Singing in the Rain,” “Circle of Life,” and “My Heart Will Go On.” This lively music revue reminds us that movies and music have always gone hand in hand.
