Directed by Peter Amster
Asolo Rep brings comedic new ‘Three Musketeers.
Asolo Repertory Theatre has presented versions of Alexandre Dumas’ enduring story “The Three Musketeers” twice before in the last 42 years, but never quite like the production that Peter Amster is staging to kick off the new year and the start of the winter repertory season.
This production, which begins Wednesday, features a script by Ken Ludwig, best known for the comedy “Lend Me a Tenor” and the musical “Crazy for You,” as well as the stage version of Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express,” which was a hit at Asolo Rep two years ago.
“Ludwig creatively incorporates his flair for humor to make the story a standout” – BroadwayWorld
Harrowing adventure, bravery, and friendship take center stage in Ken Ludwig’s THE THREE MUSKETEERS, a thrilling adaptation of the popular novel by Alexandre Dumas. One of the world’s most enduring comedies, this classic tells the tale of a daring young man who finds himself in the company of the world’s greatest swordsmen, as well as some of the world’s most dangerous men and women.
Directed by Peter Amster, who most recently directed Asolo Rep’s smash hit Murder on the Orient Express in 2020, this play promises to be a fast-paced, witty, swashbuckling good time.
All for one, and one for all!
Ms. Lane will play Milady

Event Details
Miles Davis: Birth Of The Cool – Wikipedia
Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool is a 2019 American documentary film about Miles Davis, directed by Stanley Nelson Jr.[4][5][6][7]
The film was made for the PBS American Masters television series[8] and premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.[9][10] It uses interviews that Nelson has done with people who knew Davis, and with scholars, as well as still photographs and film clips. The text of the voice-over narration (performed by Carl Lumbly) is entirely by Davis.[8]
The film won two Emmy Awards in 2021 for outstanding arts and culture documentary and outstanding sound.[11] It was also nominated for Best Music Film at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2019, but lost to Beyoncé’s Homecoming.

Great beginner class for all ages. Bring your kids and grandparents too. Jules has been a resin pro for 4 years teaching locally and this class is perfected into a kit.
The tools in your kit will help you easily create oceans inside shells from local beaches. You will not have to share supplies and get everything to create 6 shells with an ocean theme.
The resin technique you will learn is tinting resin with pigment powder. Please don’t bring shells unless you plan to accept a charge for extra resin if your shells are large. Also, no refunds only rescheduling is available—resin class age 10 and under with adult supervision. Resin does not come off of clothes so dress appropriately.

The Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens musical takes us into the world of Dr. Seuss, where Horton, a kind-hearted elephant finds a speck of dust containing Whoville. He must protect the speck while at the same time protecting an abandoned egg. Horton tries to convince the other animals in The Jungle of Nool of the existence of the Whos, but he is ridiculed and put on trial. Only his neighbor, Gertrude, never gives up on him. Despite the odds, Horton and Gertrude band together to save the Whos, free Horton, and restore peace and unity. Seussical paints a picture of friendship, loyalty, and love, teaching of the power of being unique, and the importance of fighting for what you believe in.
