Annual Pre-Holiday Escape Campout at Crowley Museum and Nature Center

Finish up all your holiday shopping a week early and join us for a stress-free Pre-Holiday Escape Campout for the weekend in the cool fresh December temperatures with your family. Get away from all the “retail stress” of the holidays and get back to what is important – family and friends!

December 9-10th
Meals are provided (even hot chocolate and marshmallows!)
December Camping in Florida is amazing!!
$35.00 per person (over 6 yrs) includes meals

Want to spend some quality time with your immediate family, getting back to what is important, before all the family gets in town and the commercial part of Christmas takes place? Join us for an overnight camping trip! It will be cool enough that there will be no bugs!….. and perfect sleeping weather in the evenings!!

Check-in time is 11 AM – You are free to arrive at your leisure – Upon arrival, members of your group will need to sign their release before they are allowed to camp. You can print and sign your release in advance – available online at: https://notaclueadventures.com/waiver-and-release

PLEASE REVIEW:
We will have iced tea available and water – please bring your own refillable container as all we will have is plastic cups. We do not provide soda.
NOTE: If you have your own personal mess kits please feel free to bring to save on waste produced from all the paper goods. Not a Clue is “Going Green” All campers will are asked to bring their own mess kits to camp.

Below is some information you will need for the planning of your trip. A waiver will need to be signed upon arrival.

Campsite/Tents if pre-reserved will be assigned onsite as you arrive. If you have any special needs please contact us immediately if you have not already done so!

Tents can be provided for an additional fee:
$20 (4-person capacity)
$35 (6-person capacity)

Rentals can be paid in cash upon arrival.

Community campfire activities will include smores or other treats and stories around the fire and possibly a night hike.
Nearest Store – Publix – 30 min drive
We may have additional guests stop by to check out how we do things at Not a Clue Adventures, please make them feel welcome.
Facility Rules:
• Pets are not recommended – call for information
The speed limit on the property is 5 mph, please be respectful and stay alert as there are many animals in the area. Call if you plan to arrive after 4 pm as the Pioneer Area that we will be touring closes at 5 pm
Check-in time for campsites is 11:00 a.m., and check-out time is 2:00 p.m. Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

What Campers should bring with them
Lawn/ Camp Chair
Flash Lights, headlamps
Changes of Clothes/shoes (long pants recommended – lots of poison ivy)
Towels and toiletries (toothbrush, soap, Wet Ones, etc)
Extra jacket and sweater – always best to dress in layers
You should wear closed-toe shoes – flip flops are not recommended except around camp and not around the firepit (we do have poison ivy around edges of the property)
Sleeping bag – extra blanket suggested!!!– pillow
Bug Spray, Sun Block
Sm cooler with ice for specialty drinks/meds/picky eaters
A separate bag for dirty clothes
Bicycles, yard toys, balls, Frisbees, book, etc
Camera, batteries
*If you want some cushion to sleep on bring a blow-up pool raft under your sleeping bag. Please note that if you are bringing an air mattress, it does get cooler in the evening, please place a blanket under your sleeping bag or sheets as well. The air in the space between you and the ground will be colder than if you slept on the ground.
PLEASE NOTE: NO FOOD OR DRINKS OTHER THAN WATER ARE PERMITTED IN THE TENTS PROVIDED BY NOT A CLUE ADVENTURES AT ANY TIME. We also ask that if your child brings an electronic device it only be used after they turn in for the night.
