DO IT AT THE BEACH

Love permeates Sarasota on February 14, and a true “love fest” can be found at Siesta Key Beach at sunset when hundreds of love birds gather at Sunset to “SAY I DO, AGAIN” here.

Since the 90’s, Sarasota County has hosted this yearly event that draws hundreds of couples (and singles) to gather on Siesta Key and Nokomis beaches to renew their vows as the sun sets on Feb. 14. This year, officials expect about 800 people on Siesta and 300 people on Nokomis Beach.

Check-in for the ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m., with activities beginning at 5 p.m. A non-denominational service begins at 6 p.m. Couples will also get a commemorative certificate, gift, flower and light refreshments.

Register for the Siesta Key “Say I Do Again” ceremony here and the Nokomis Beach by February 7.  The cost is $15 per couple in advance or $25 per couple on-site. Check-in for the ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m., with activities starting at 5 p.m. A non-denominational service begins at 6 p.m.

Couples can also get more information on the event by calling 941-861-PARK(7275).
