Starting today, March 25 through April 2, The Sarasota Film Festival (SFF), celebrates 25 years of offering some of the most compelling, independent films, documentaries, shorts and more.
“Through Women’s Eyes” brings a host of women and gender equality issues reflected in films, shorts and documentaries at the International Film Festival in Sarasota through Monday night, March 13.
“Women are grossly underrepresented as directors, photographers, and cinematographers; as actors they speak less and get naked more. We want to tell other stories.” – E. Scott Osborne, Sarasota International Film Festival Chair and President of “Through Women’s Eyes, ” a local advocacy group. The film festival is March 9 – 13.
