"The Phantom of the Opera" with Adam Aceto, organist

Join us for a spook-tacular Halloween treat — a screening of the 1925 film classic, “The Phantom of the Opera”. We are thrilled to welcome Adam Aceto, our guest artist for the evening, who will accompany the movie on the organ.

Adam Aceto is the staff organist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and is the only full-time organist in the Walt Disney Company. At Disney World’s storied Wedding Pavilion he plays hundreds of weddings and other special events each year. There, a 3-manual Rogers Infinity with full theatre organ resources suits both classical and popular selections, from Bach to movie scores and top-40 of today.

Since 2010, Adam is also proud to serve as the staff organist at the historic Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara playing the 4/27 “Wonder” Morton. Award-winning for his film scores, he is the resident organist for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and extemporaneously accompanies several silent movies for them each year.

Adam is also a nationally renowned musicologist specializing in Broadway music from 1890-1930. At the Library of Congress are his scores and recordings, more than 200 hours of recorded music, are the first commercial recordings of the little-known masterworks of this era.
