The Matthews Johns Band is a trio of rockers that are known for blending modernistic chord changes, anthem-like choruses, and catchy hooks that show their lyrical storytelling. With riff-heavy rock grooves and head-snapping drums, these guys are exciting, and inviting and have a warm familiarity. Consisting of Detroit native Matthew Johns (guitar and vocals), Steve Camilleri (drums) Buffalo native and former drummer for The Dickey Betts Band, who holds down the foundation with Jessie Stephens (bass) making this trio a force to be reckoned with.
