Sundays at The Bay featuring the Island Hoppers Duo

Celebrate Grandparents Day with great music from the Island Hoppers Duo and treat those you love with a delicious scoop of Great Heights Creamery ice cream.

At the heart of the Island Hoppers is Paul Luther (Guitar, vocals) and James Rosati (Drums/percussion, vocals) They perform as an acoustic duo yet expand to a larger band enlisting the talent of some of the area’s finest musicians. The range and variety of cover songs they play is about as wide as it comes in the Sarasota/Bradenton area- they do everything from instrumental music, 50’s and 60’s pop/rock, 70’s and 80’s dance tunes, tropical rock, country and current chart hits.

Sundays at The Bay is a free, weekly music and performance program offered from 6-7pm. Come to The Bay to experience a different local artist each week, from jazz, rock, genre fusion and marimbas to guitar and gospel.

Bring a chair to ensure a comfortable seat.
Free public parking is located along Blvd of Arts, Van Wezel way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Parking along Blvd of the Arts will be limited due to the Shade Structure construction in front of The Nest.
Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
Keep pets on a leash.
This event will take place rain or shine. The indoor back-up location in the event of inclement weather is the Sarasota Garden Club (1131 Boulevard of the Arts Sarasota 34236)
