Sundays at the Bay featuring Adrian Anantawan

The Bay is proud to partner with the Van Wezel Foundation for a unique Sundays at The Bay concert showcasing the intersection of beautiful classical music and extraordinary talent.

The Van Wezel Foundation’s Artist in Residence, Adrian Anantawan, a world-renowned one-handed violinist, educator and Tanglewood faculty member will share the stage with one-handed pianist and Boston Conservatory graduate, Leigh McAllister. The musical program includes works by Bach, Chopin, Schumann, and Beethoven, including an original composition from Molly Joyce, a composer with an impaired hand due to an accident, whose lists of accomplishments include being a graduate of Juilliard, Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Yale, and alumnus of the YoungArts Foundation. As part of Adrian’s Van Wezel Foundation Residency, he shared his gifts as musician, educator, and advocate with students from The Haven in Sarasota. These local students will join Adrian to conclude the performance and showcase The Bay’s commitment for our community to realize the possibilities!
