Luminescence Festival: General Admission

Enjoy an evening of illumination and music in Downtown Wellen! Join your community to place hundreds of glowing lanterns in a moment of reflection and celebration at the ceremonial opening of Downtown Wellen’s Grand Lake. The evening will begin with a signature jazz concert by The Eighth Note Collective, a dynamic group of Orlando-based musicians who bring a fresh take on Classic Jazz music. At sundown, we’ll line the Grand Lake with luminary bags, followed by a magical display of projection art choreographed to the smooth sounds of jazz.

Participants can personalize their luminary bag to remember loved ones ahead of placing them along the lake.

Event Schedule:

6:00 – 8:00 pm – Live music

8:15 – 8:45 pm – Lantern placement + drone photography

8:45 – 10:00 pm – Projection art + live music

Each attendee must RSVP’s to receive a luminary lantern bag, a marker, a tea light, and sand.

Lanterns will be available for pick-up during the event between 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Solis Hall in Downtown Wellen.

We recommend bringing lawn chairs to sit on.
