Listen Hear : TianYi Li and Max Tan: Beethoven in the Home

Listen Hear, Sarasota Art Museum’s classical music program featuring world-class artists performing in an intimate, casual setting, presents a new roster of diverse music and musicians on Saturdays at 2 pm. Curated by concert violinist Max Tan, each salon-style event includes a short, classical music program, insights from the artists, and conversation. November 5, TianYi Li and Max Tan: Beethoven in the Home

The Listen Hear series kicks off with TianYi Li and Max Tan who will perform a historical arrangement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, published in 1886, and a new arrangement of Beethoven’s Leonore Overture arranged for solo piano by Juilliard doctoral candidate TianYi Li, and explore how instrumentation and arranging can affect our experience of musical works.

The concerts will be held in Thomas McGuire Hall; $40 for Members and $55 for Not-Yet Members; seating is limited; advance ticket purchase with pre-event registration is recommended.
