Listen Hear, Sarasota Art Museum’s classical music program featuring world-class artists performing in an intimate, casual setting, presents a new roster of diverse music and musicians on Saturdays at 2 pm. Curated by concert violinist Max Tan, each salon-style event includes a short, classical music program, insights from the artists, and conversation. Join us on November 5 for the piano/violin duo of TianYi Li and Max Tan.

November 5, TianYi Li and Max Tan: Beethoven in the Home

The Listen Hear series kicks off with TianYi Li and Max Tan who will perform a historical arrangement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, published in 1886, and a new arrangement of Beethoven’s Leonore Overture arranged for solo piano by Juilliard doctoral candidate TianYi Li, and explore how instrumentation and arranging can affect our experience of musical works.

The concerts will be held in Thomas McGuire Hall; $40 for Members and $55 for Not-Yet Members; seating is limited; advance ticket purchase with pre-event registration is recommended.

Join us this season for additional performances on Saturdays :
December 3, and December 17, 2022; January 28 and April 15, 2023
