Kupiński Duo Classical Guitar Concert

The Polish-American Association of Sarasota, Inc. proudly presents its 17th Annual Concert featuring the Kupiński Duo, classical guitarists from Poland on Sunday, February 26th at 4:00 pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1031 Euclid Street in Sarasota.

Ewa Jabłczyńska and Dariusz Kupiński known as the Kupiński Duo studied guitar at universities in Germany and earned advanced music degrees in Poland. Both artists teach in Poland, perform concerts all over the world, and still find time to participate in a number of competitions garnering prestigious awards and scholarships. Audiences have noted the sheer joy, warmth, and genuine admiration this couple shares with one another and their listeners. From the sublime music of Chopin, we all love so well to stimulating, dramatic Spanish music and everything in between this concert is certain to please the most discerning concert-goer. The Duo will play some of Fryderyk Chopin’s Waltzes and Mazurkas, music by Aleksander Tansman, Manuel de Falla, and others.
