Tom Carabasi has performed and recorded with many of the area’s top jazz artists.
In 2001 he arranged and produced a CD entitled “Portraits in Black and White” with an assortment of Brazilian and jazz standards featuring Kenny Drew Jr. on piano.
The recording was voted one of the top new CDs by jazz radio, WUSF, Tampa.
Carabasi is also the department head of photography and design at Ringling School of Art and Design. has performed and recorded with many of the area’s top jazz artists.
