One of the finest jazz bands in the area, the Sarasota Jazz Project is directed by co-founder, George McLain. Comprised of some of the best musicians on the Gulf Coast, the seventeen-piece band plays the music of the great big bands of the past as well as original compositions and arrangements.
You’ll also hear favorites from the American songbook with featured vocalist, Katy Cristiani, who wowed the audience at last season’s concert. Concert from 2 – 4 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. Admission is at the door.
