Free Second Sundays at SAM

Enjoy a day of art and family fun at Sarasota Art Museum! On the second Sunday of each month, we offer free admission for visitors from 11 am to 5 pm and special programming from 11 am – 4 pm. These special days include art-making activities for the whole family plus additional activities and performances.

Open Studios provides drop-in art projects,  and the opportunity to meet our Museum Educators and Teaching Artists! Each month we explore a new theme or medium. Discover new materials, meet a new friend, and get creative with your community! Join us for this month’s theme: Clay.

Musical Interlude – Featuring Latin Rendezvous – 12:30- 1:30 pm

Activating Words – 2 – 2:45pm

Join us for an immersive program with Asolo Repertory Theatre, we’ll combine art, movement, and storytelling to share who we are through the exploration of words and illustration. This dynamic hour of fun encourages families to solve the puzzle, allowing them to create together.
