A celebration of visual and performing arts, Artscape Wellen Park is alive with the sounds and visions of our local creative landscape. Experience visual arts exhibitions, mesmerizing public art, an artist marketplace, immersive family experiences, unforgettable live musical performances, and so much more.

Schedule of Events:

10am-4pm: Artist Market featuring artists from North Port Arts Center and Venice Art Center

10am-5pm: Community ‘Paint By Number’ Wall Mural-come out and help paint the mural!

10am-4pm: Student Chalk Art Competition

10am-4pm: Kids Zone Chalk Art-your kiddos will get a small square on the sidewalk to participate…while supplies and squares last! (Feel free to bring your own chalk)

10am: Flag for Heroes Opening Ceremony

2:30-3:00: Impressions Dance Company-will perform their art and you’ll be able to find out more information on how to join their team!

4pm-4:30: Flags For Heroes Closing Ceremony (Heritage Tree)

5pm-6:45pm: Venice Symphony Jazz Ensemble (Solis Hall Stage)-Guests are welcome to bring chairs, but please leave coolers at home-you may purchase to-go beverages from any of our downtown restaurants!

6:45pm-10:00pm: Rob Hazen – Live Musician (Heritage Tree)
