Chabad of Sarasota's 28th Annual Gala Dinner Honoring Flora Oynick

Under the starry night on the Sarasota Bay Chabad of Sarasota will honor Flora Oynick at its 28th annual gala held on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:30 pm, at Selby Gardens.

The fundraising gala catered by Michael’s on East will benefit the Children’s Scholarship Fund, which helps assure that families with financial constraints can receive assistance from Chabad’s Hebrew school, preschool, and summer camp.

The gala’s honoree, Flora Oynick, moved to Sarasota in 1988 with her husband Guillermo, and ever since, Flora got involved in Jewish Early Childhood Education, where she influenced and maintained connectivity with families and children. Her wealth of child growth and development knowledge has led to Flora’s vast contribution to Chabad and the greater Sarasota community. Flora volunteers her time at Chabad of Sarasota’s Weinstein Jewish Enrichment Program. She is adored by the children and their parents and cherishes the opportunity to inspire children with love for Judaism. Flora serves as a member of the Chabad of Sarasota Advisory Board. Flora treasures the relationships she has built through the years as a professional but mostly the personal relationships with family, friends, and community where Chabad of Sarasota and The Steinmetz family have played an important role.

Another one of the evening’s highlights will be entertainment by the hypnotist, Gary Roberts.
