Learn how to save time, work, and money in designing/managing your landscape while also protecting our unique Florida environment!

Join us for a free Florida Friendly Landscaping (FFL) class to learn the nine principles that guide Florida-friendly landscaping in Lee County. Each principle is covered in class so you can apply what you learn to your own garden. Plant selection and placement, efficient irrigation, and proper mulching will be discussed. Learn how reducing your use of fertilizers and insecticides will help minimize the number of chemicals that reach and pollute our waters. Dates and locations are as follows:

March 11, 10am-Noon, Veterans Park, 55 Homestead Rd.S, Lehigh Acres

March 25, 10am-Noon, Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Rd. Cape Coral*

April 15, 10am-Noon, No. Ft. Myers Rec Center, 2000 No. Recreation Prkwy

*Note: After the class at Rotary Park, attendees will be able to tour the Demonstration Garden there and observe the mature Florida Friendly Landscape.
