Get ready to experience the joy of the music, the bands, and the singers, who blended their talents to bring the sounds of home to the valiant men and women of our armed forces- lifting their spirits, and helping to unify the resolve of our great country during the difficult days of World War Two!
“The New Darlings Of Swing” (Internationally acclaimed vocalists Michelle Amato, Michele James-Pruyn, and Suzy Park) are joined by Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra leader, trumpeter, and vocalist, David Pruyn, in musical remembrances of The Pied Pipers, The Modernaires, and The Andrews Sisters, that will have you swaying in your seat, tapping your feet, and even drying a happy tear or two!
Supporting all these marvelous moments will be “The Jazz Legacy Big Band”; 16 of the very finest professional musicians to be found anywhere- and they’ll have several featured stand-out selections of their own!
