Hartford Court Winemaker Event
You are invited to our very special winemaker event featuring Hartford Court Wines Winemaker and General Manager, Jeff Stewart.
Spend the evening tasting wines with master winemaker, Jeff Stewart of Hartford Court Wines. Jeff is a California native and avid skier. During a summer trip to France and with the guidance of an enthusiastic high school chemistry teacher Jeff’s passion for wine was ignited. “I was fascinated with the lifestyle and importance of wine in the French culture.” He found his calling and enrolled in Viticulture and Enology program at UC Davis. For 30 years now, Jeff carved a niche making award-winning Russian River Valley and Sonoma County pinot noir, chardonnay, and old vine zinfandel wines.
Featured Wines:
Hartford Court, Four Hearts Vineyards, Chardonnay, Russian River
Hartford Court, Russian River Valley, Chardonnay, Russian River
Hartford Court, Seascape Vineyard, Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast
Hartford Court, Fog Dance Vineyard, Chardonnay, Green Valley, 2020
Hartford Court, Land’s Edge Vineyards, Pinot Not, Sonoma Coast, 2019
Hartford Court, Russian River Valley, Pinot Noir, 2019
Hartford Court, Zinfandel, Russian River Valley, 2021
About Hartford Court Winery
Hartford Family Winery was founded in 1994 as a result of Don and Jennifer Hartford’s appreciation for the wines, the people, and the unique vineyards near their Russian River Valley home. Located in the Sonoma County town of Forestville, the winery is about 15 miles from the cool Pacific Coast. They specialize in small productions of pinot noir, chardonnay, and old vine zins.
Lite bites will be served to pair with the featured wines.
10% discount on the purchase of 6 bottles or more of Hartford Court wines presented at the tasting.
This is going to be a fun night tasting wines and meeting one of the premier winemakers in California! No reservations are required.

About this lecture:
This lecture features the works of the European architectural avant-garde in the 1920s and 1930s: De Stijl, Russian Constructivism, and the Bauhaus, as well as the early work of Le Corbusier.
About Modern Architecture 101 series:
New materials, new techniques. New ideas, new cultural influences. The intersection of the industrial revolution, the colonial project and the expansion of class participation in cultural production—hallmarks of Modernism—drove radical change in the built environment. From Paxton’s Crystal Palace to Mies’ Seagram Building, we’ll look at a century of responses, some looking to the future, some looking to the past, some looking around the world, and some looking to the stars!

Event Details
Ireland With Michael LIVE is a multimedia experience that combines the music, dance & stories of Ireland and features the ethereal voice of leading Irish tenor Michael Londra. Following the overwhelming success of Seasons #1 and #2 of the Ireland With Michael travel and music series on PBS in 2021 and 2022 (over 82% reach of all U.S Households and 8,400 individual airings across the United States), the LIVE theatrical show based on the PBS program will tour U.S cities in 2023. Season #3 of the PBS show will air on stations from January 2023.
Emmy® award-nominated singer and the Voice of Riverdance on Broadway, Michael Londra interlaces songs and stories of Ireland to a backdrop of spectacular footage filmed for his PBS travel series in his new show Ireland With Michael LIVE. In doing so, he creates an immersive journey around the Emerald Isle for his audience. Irish dancers, Fiddles and Pipes add to the feast of Celtic talent onstage, drawing the audience across the Atlantic Ocean to Ireland.
Ireland With Michael – LIVE is an immersive celebration of Irish culture and music for the Irish American Heritage Month of March. Michael shares his own connection to songs and stories of his home county, his love of traditional music backed by his immensely talented band and world champion Irish dancers. The live concert is a perfect addition to St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The stunning set for Ireland With Michael LIVE adds a multimedia dimension to the show. Conceptualized and designed by an award-winning Broadway Lighting & Projection designer, the backdrop incorporates drone footage and excerpts from Michael’s PBS travel show of the same name. In both the Television show and in Ireland With Michael LIVE, Londra tells the story of Ireland the only way he knows how – through music.

Mourning during the Victorian era was a ritualized and necessary process to grieve loved ones effectively. However, like many other aspects, the bloodshed caused by the American Civil War changed how mourning was carried out. From dog tags to embalming, many of the changes forced by the Civil War are still felt today and show how people adapt even in the most devastating circumstances to find meaning in loss.
Lectures will be held in the Wiggins Store Conference Room at Manatee Village Historical Park from 2 PM on the 4th Saturday, February to October unless otherwise noted. Seating is limited, and filled on a first-come basis. Admission is free!

About the Sarasota Polo Club
Polo is not just a sport with a rich history; it’s a community. The Sarasota Polo Club is one of the largest, most dedicated, and most enthusiastic polo communities in the world. An estimated 50,000 spectators will be on hand during our 2023 Sarasota Polo Season.
Established in 1991 as the first development in the award-winning, master-planned community of Lakewood Ranch, the Sarasota Polo Club has a remarkable legacy. In 1922, our property was settled as a 28,000-acre timber ranch. Originally, the cowboys who worked on our ranch began playing knock-around polo games in their free time. Riding their quarter horses with stock saddles, using make-shift equipment, and knowing very little about polo, the cowboys played by their own rules. Rule #1 was the first rider to fall off their horse-bought beer for the team, a tradition that remains in place today. Eventually, mallets, saddles, and a few polo ponies were donated to the “cowboy games” and in 1991, a real polo club was born.
Today the Sarasota Polo Club spans 170 perfectly manicured acres. Our world-class facilities include 45 private equestrian estates, 7 Bermuda grass polo fields, a regulation-sized polo arena, a half-mile all-weather exercise track, dedicated stick & ball fields, riding trails, on-site stabling for up to 300 horses, on-site veterinary care, a newly-renovated Member’s Clubhouse, and a midfield polo pavilion.
